The top is a 24-inch x 32-inch, single piece rotationally molded platform that features molded-in non-slip surface and desired color. This large platform ensures the fastest legal starts for the serious competitor. A 10-inch wide and 8-inch deep rear platform-mounting step is also provided. A rigid 13-inch wide backstroke bar is provided; it is parallel and is flush with the pool end wall, equipped with white handgrips, a configuration that allows for quick backstroke starts.
