Material Of Construction

FPT SS stainless steel strainers are manufactured from schedule 10, 304 Stainless Steel stub ends and back up rings as standard. - 316 Stainless is available.

The cover flange is 1" thick acrylic sheet, secured with 304 stainless eyebolts and tee handles. A 1/4" thick Neoprene gasket is supplied as standard. Viton or EPDM materials are options.

Baskets are 14, 16 or 18 gauge 304 stainless with 1/8" perforations on 3/16 centers with 40% open area. Larger or smaller perforations are available.  Baskets may be lined with 100 or 200 mesh stainless wire for finer filtration.

Port Configuration

As standard, FPT offers an "In-Line" design. For special applications, "Offset", "Angled Offset" or "Boot" configurations are available.

Pressure Taps - Standard
Installed on the inlet and outlet ports, these taps allow for mounting pressure gauges and/or switches.

Optional Features

Baskets:
Though the standard basket is 304 stainless steel, FPT can furnish Monel or PVC.

Swing Arm Assembly (optional)
Used to lift cover and swing it aside for ease of basket removal helpful aid in strainers 10" and over.
